Iron Man movie follow-up

So, I saw Iron Man on opening night, like a dutiful nerd (special thanks to Shantytown for joining me), & I must say, I LOVED it!! Robert Downey Jr. was an amazing choice, and everyone was great it it, even if Terrence Howard sounds like a flaming homo the whole time. And the film was so successful, that Marvel felt confident enough to release their upcoming plans for bringing more funny books to the screen…

Iron Man 2 - Marvel - Scheduled for April 30, 2010 release
Thor - Marvel - Scheduled for June 4, 2010 release
The First Avenger: Captain America (working title) - Marvel - Scheduled for May 6, 2011 release
The Avengers - Marvel - Scheduled for July 2011 release

Plus, ‘The Incredible Hulk’ is due out later this summer & the Punisher sequel in the fall, AND Wolverine should be out in 2009. Also in talks for film development are Magneto & Ant-Man projects; and rumors abound on Spider-Man 4. But the Avengers news has really got me moist like a snack cake. Can’t wait!!! (Even if I will be 30 by the time these movies come out!).

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash #5 - More horrifying ass whooping as this excellent mini works towards it conclusion.
House of M: Avengers #5 - The conclusion to this rougher alternate reality Avengers tale. Maybe now we will see how it ties into the proper House of M mini-series.
Kick Ass #1 - A mature readers title about a more realistic view of super-heroes. Expect vulgarity grossness and hilarity to ensue!
Marvel Zombies 2 #5 - The fate of what’s left of the human race hangs in the balance as the Civil War between the Marvel Zombies comes to its shattering & sickening conclusion!
She-Hulk 2 #26 - So a Skrull, a She-HUlk, and a mysterious are going to duke it out and see if Shulkie will go back to her heroic ways. Recent issues of other books would lead us to belive that she does!
Thor #6 - The first arc of the new Thor finishes up. And after we met a female Loki last issue… who knows what could be next!
X-Men Legends #208 - Following Messiah CompleX this books takes off in a new direction, and will probably let us know if Professor X is really dead or not. If Smallville and X-Men have taught me anything, gunshots to the head don’t kill bald dudes!
Young Avengers Presents #2 - Expect some hints to Secret Invasion to crop up here, since Hulking is part Kree & part Skrull… and maybe some appearances by his boyfriend. That’s right kids… he’s gay too - and dating Wiccan!!

Fantastic Four #554 - A new creative team takes over with this issue. Who cares? Well it is the team that made ‘The Ultimates’ the bad-ass comic book that it is today. So perhaps you should take notice!!
Marvel Comics Presents #6 - This issue features a Cap story along with the continuing sagas of Weapon Omega, Vanguard, and now Ka-Zar!
New Avengers #38 - Could it be? Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are breaking up? Is Jessica really going to register to protect her baby? This issue fills us in!
New Exiles #2 - This book didn’t suck as much as it could, and didn’t blow me away either. I love thartist, so they at least have my attention through the first arc. After that, I guarantee nothing.
Wolverine #62 - A ‘Divided We Stand’ tie-in. Apparently Wolverine is off on his own little tangent to try and kill Mystique once and for all.
X-Factor #28 - A new direction for the team, as Layla is apparently dead, Madrox is shaken up from his time travel, and Wolfsbane leaves the team. My oh my!
X-Force #1 - A new team led by that under-used Wolverine dude, who will do the dirty work that the X-Men won’t do. Don’t expect it to be much like the wonderful X-Force series from the 90’s.

Captain America: The Chosen #6 - A non-sucky war story. Imagine that. In a more surprising move, could the dude from this mini-series be the new Cap? We’ll see…
Fantastic Four #553 - The conclusion to a rather dull-arc about the FF from the future coming back to shed light on Reed’s master plan from Civil War. Time to tidy things up for the new creative team to take over this lagging title!!
House of M: Avengers #4 - More characters show up to join in the anti-Magneto agenda in the House of M reality.
Mighty Avengers #8 - Spider-Woman has joined up in time to tackle a massive symbiote take-over of New York. Plus, some ass-kicking wih the New Avengers too. Fun!
New Avengers Annual #2 - This annual promises to tie up some loose ends dangling from Civil War and World War Hulk, plus get ‘er ready for Secret Invasion. Plus some line-up shake-ups!
Ultimate X-Men #90 - Sinister appears to be back from the dead as we gear up for the return (debut?) of Ultimate Apocalypse.
What If… Spider-Man vs. Wolverine - Wouldn’t it be fun to watch some 80’s Wolvie versus Spidey action!? I think so.
X-Men: Emperor Vulcan #5 - Summers vs. Summers. This one should decide the fate of the X-Men in space, plus the Shi’Ar empire.
