MY EIGHT THINGS
1. Though I squawk about Kylie Minogue several times a week, originally, since I was 13, my heart belonged to Tori Amos. I still love her, and respect her, but Kylie took over, and inched her way to number 1. At least as far as gay boys and their divas go.
2. It took me 7 years of having a job to work up the nerve to go #2 at work. Since then it happens all the time… because if one must shit, may as well get paid for it!
3. Though I’m addicted 2 comic books now, there were 2 significant periods in my life where I stopped reading comic books altogether. Once was because I though I was too grown up (HA!) and once because money was too tight.
4. I’m scared of snakes. To the core. Like so scared I start to cry if I see them for too long. Even on TV.
5. I have lived in Maryland all my life. I have only been to Ocean City twice. Ever!
6. I’m starting to worry that I’ll never act in a show again, and that I’m not really even that good at it.
7. I still have yet to see the movie versions of Evita, RENT, & Dreamgirls. I lie in bed, bathed in sweat for fear the gay mafia is going to break into my house in the middle of the night and take away my gay card (and the toaster).
8. I don’t understand open relationships. I don’t judge the people in them, but I just can’t wrap my mind around the concept.

It’s official. The rumors are true. They’re back.

The Spice Girls just held a press conference announcing the reunion. A documentary is coming soon, with a greatest hits album in November, and then…

A world tour in December.

The only east coast US date is in New York, so I’m not getting my hopes up. But it’s gonna be awesome/tragic/hilarious.

Since they broke up in 2001, they’ve all taken cracks at solo careers, none of which were more successful then any of the others really, and certainly not bigger than the band’s hits. They’ve all had babies, except for Baby. Posh is married to a soccer superstar, Scary just had Eddie Murphy’s illegitimate child, Ginger was George Michael’s fag hag for a while, and Sporty was never my favorite. Ginger was.

just a little somethin to break the monotony

This post is a week late. Blame school. Blame the heat. Either way, better late, than never!!

A week ago marked the official first day of Summer 2007. I’ll be doing it right with — summer school. Ha! Beyond that, I’ll be heading to a mystery destination for Shanny’s birthday in 3 weeks, plus DC for the 4th of July, Hershey Park to see John Mayer, to Florida for a week to beach it up & visit my folks, and I’m sure some surprise trips to the beach will be popping up! And I’ve almost finished my first summer session class - Intro to Business. I’ll be taking the final tomorrow, and I should hold a solid B with a slight chance at a low A. Can’t believe that shit!! Next up is ‘Principles of Internet’, and judging by the course description, I could teach the class. Whatev… gotta do what you gotta do. Hope everyone out there has a fantastic summer, and keep checking back here. Even if I’m not around, there will still be posts & what-not!
